Tony I don't know what to say. I only spoke to you the day before you left for Trinadad, and if I'd known I would have bbabyt our meeting forward before you left. This will be a hard one for so many people Tone' you were just such an inspiration to so many. When I told Chanika she started to cry, she remembers our trip to Nottinghill so well with your friend and the kids. Tony, I know you will live on thbaby your love of music and the love you had for so many. My prayers are with you and Carol (your sis), Mum, Sandra and the Kids. I have to also thank Dee Dee because if it wasn't for her I would never have known you. Tony, I'm hurting so much right now but I know that you are in a place where there is no pain. May GODS Angels protect you and I hope your now with your Dad who I know you missed so much. Good-Bye Tone' you will always be known as: 'ONE OF THE BEST.'

I have been reading the messages that you all have left on this site. It pressing to see how many people knew tony and how he has helped so many people. As part of the Saga Boys, i cant express how difficult it is for me not to have tony around...he was like a BIG brother to me. I still cant get it into my head..he has gone..its like he is still in trinidad on holiday..i dont think it has sunk in yet. Tony had so many plans for the coming years to push saga boys in different areas...now we are left to try and carry on the plans he had for us. It will be difficult for us but we must continue the works for him. I am writing this with a heavy heart Oh lord..cant write no more now..rest in perfect peace Saga boy TONY. Thank you all from the Saga Boys. TEXT

To Tony's family and friends. Unlike you I can't say that I knew Tony very well, however, about three years ago I was looking for a place to buy good soca music and discovered Tan Tan records. I live in South London but every month without fail I made my way to the record shop. Tony was always there smiling and helpful. We would discuss music and usually I would leave the shop with one or two CDs in my hand. It got to a point where Tony where he would laugh and tell me that I am buying literally everything in his shop. If I recall, the last time I saw him was either December or early January, he told me he was going to Carnival. I went to the shop in February and it was closed, same for March and April. By May I started to cuss wondering why the shop was not open. That's when I asked if Tony had moved, only to be told he had died. I was in shock! I wondered how I had not heard as I usually listen to the radio. But if I am honest I too was going thbaby my own grief. I wanted to write before just to send my condolsences to his family and friends. but I thought that the funeral had already taken place, and therefore did not want to raise those feelings again in his love onces [although the feelings never go away - believe me I know from experience]. But I have just heard that the funeral is on Friday, so I felt it was appropriate to send my condolsences, my thoughts are with you all on the 10th. Tony rest in peace, I don't know where to go now to get me music, for there are many records shops in London - but none I am sure will show me the respect and kindness you showed me during my visits.

Tony, the last time I saw you was @ Luton Carnival last year 2003 I cannot even believe that your gone! I was so shocked to hear the news a few months ago. I met you when I was 18 and I am now approaching 28 this year.... Where has all the time gone? You were one of the nicest guys I have ever met... Thanks for all your support as a friend and your great passion for soca music. I cannot believe that I will never see your smiling face again. RIP Tony. Li

ONE THING ABOUT TIME , YOU THINK YOU HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD , BUT THATS NOT TRUE BECAUSE TIME RAN OUT FOR YOU MY LOVE ON THE 16TH FEB 2005 AT 5:50 PM . MEETING YOU FOR THE FIRST TIME IN JUNE 1999 WAS THE RIGHT TIME FOR BOTH OF US NOT KNOWING THAT YOU KNEW ME FROM A LONG TIME AGO , BUT YOU WAITED FOR THE RIGHT TIME TO APPROACH ME . WE SPENT A LOT OF TIME TOGETHER SHARING AND CARING FOR EACH OTHER , GOING PLACES TOGETHER , ON THE PHONE FOR A LONG TIME AND DOING THINGS WHICH WE ENJOYED ; BUT WE NEVER FOUND THE TIME TO ARGUE WITH EACH OTHER . NOT KNOWING THAT WE HAD SO LITTLE TIME LEFT , OUR TIME TOGETHER MY LOVE HAS BEEN CUT SHORT FOR SOME UN KNOW REASON .NOW I HAVE SO MUCH TIME AND NO ONE TO SHARE IT WITH , THE TIME I HAVE LEFT IN THIS LIFE WON'T BE THE SAME WITHOUT YOU MY LOVE .UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN TONY I WILL ALWAYS HAVE TIME TO REMEMBER THE LOVE WE SHARED TOGETHER AND IN TIME TO COME WE SHALL BE TOGETHER AGAIN . XX LOVE YOU ALWAYS SANDRA XX

finally i find out what happened to you tony. i got an email from the sagaboys saying tony died but no more details (i did reply requesting more, i guess they were too upset to read the many replies they must have got from their email). if i had have known when the funeral was (just found out on this site) i would have been there - i wanted to be there to pay my respects to a great guy.
i first started going into tantan in 1997 and you were always so friendly and welcoming, despite the fact i would only come about 3 times a year mainly due to how far the shop is from me. it still doesn't feel real - how could you not be there when i go to get my latest tunes? to chat about when next we going trini and who's going first? tony you will be missed but i look forward to seeing you again one day in the future (John 5:28, 29).
Sandra my condolences to you
